MANAGEMENT AND DIRECTORS

Tim Barry

CEO & Director

Mr. Barry is a seasoned geologist and mining executive with over 20 years experience. In addition to his role at Arras Minerals, Mr. Barry also serves as Director and CEO of Silver Bull Resources, a role he has held for over a decade. Prior to this, he worked as Chief Geologist for Dome Ventures in West and Central Africa, managing all aspects of their exploration programs and overseeing corporate compliance for Dome’s various subsidiaries. Mr. Barry has worked as a project geologist for Entree Gold, a company that has a significant stake in the Oyu Tolgoi mine in Mongolia; for Ross River Minerals Inc. on its El Pulpo copper/gold project in Sinaloa, Mexico; for Canabrava Diamonds Corporation in the James Bay lowlands in Ontario, Canada. He has also worked as a mapping geologist for the Geological Survey of Canada in the Coast Mountains, and as a research assistant at the University of British Columbia. Mr. Barry received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Otago in Dundein, New Zealand and is a Chartered Professional Geologist (CPAusIMM). Mr. Barry is based full time in Kazakhstan.

Darren Klinck 

President & Director 

Mr. Klinck is an accomplished mining executive with a wide range of management experience working throughout Australasia & The Americas. He was President & CEO of Bluestone Resources following the acquisition of the Cerro Blanco gold project in Guatemala in 2017 where he led the team that financed and advanced the project through resource expansion, feasibility and engineering phases of the project development. Prior to that, he spent more than ten years with OceanaGold as a member of the Executive Committee that achieved significant growth and business expansion to become a multi-mine, international gold mining company growing from a sub-C$100 million market capitalization to greater than C$3 billion market capitalization. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Klinck has been instrumental in negotiating both equity and debt financing packages totaling more than $800 million and has significant experience leading teams in emerging markets with a strong focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community engagement programs as well as extensive government relations activities. Mr. Klinck was appointed Honorary Consul in British Columbia for the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2023 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.


Christopher Richards CA, CPA 

CFO

Mr. Richards has 17 years experience in the mining industry, holding progressively senior positions in publicly-listed mining and resource companies operating in Kazakhstan, Greenland and the Americas. He is currently the CFO of Silver Bull Resources, Inc, a role held since September 2020. Prior to this, he has been the VP, Finance at Great Panther Mining Ltd., VP, Finance at Kyzyl Gold Ltd., CFO of True North Gems, and Corporate Controller of NovaGold Resources, Inc. Mr. Richards began his career with KPMG, where he was a senior manager in their mining group. He is a CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant, British Columbia), CA, received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University and a Certificate in Mining Studies from the Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering at the University of British Columbia.

Matt Booth

Vice President, Exploration 

Matt holds a master’s degree in Mineral Exploration from University of Leicester and has over 20 years field exploration experience, predominantly in Latin America. Over the course of his career Matt has worked as Exploration Manager for Golden Minerals in Mexico, and Exploration Manager of Peru for First Quantum Minerals Ltd. and is a Qualified Person member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists.


Vladimir Suluburic

Chief Geologist

Mr. Suluburic is an Economic Geologist with more than 10 years of experience in exploration and mining. He has spent much of his career in senior exploration roles targeting epithermal and porphyry coppergold prospects within the Timok Metallogenic province in East Serbia, part of the West Tethyan Metallogenic Belt, as well as regional prospecting and evaluation of copper-gold targets. He has also spent time working as an underground mine production geologist in Blagodat, a lead-zinc mine located in the Serbo-Macedonian Metallogenic Province in South Serbia, as well leading brownfield exploration programs exploring for base and precious metals exploration next to operating mines. Mr. Suluburic who graduated from Belgrade University in Serbia with a Masters degree in Economic Geology, is a member of the Serbian Geological Society (SGS) and a member of the European Federation of Geologist (EurGeol).


Brian Edgar 

Chairman

Mr. Edgar has broad experience working with junior and mid-size natural resource companies. He is the Chairman of the Board of Silver Bull Resources, Inc., a role held since 2010, and has served as a director of Denison Mines Corp. since 2005. Mr. Edgar has also been a director of numerous public resource companies over the last 30 years and practiced corporate & securities law in Vancouver, British Columbia for 16 years.


Wes Carson

Director

Mr. Carson has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry and has held a variety of leadership roles in operations, project development and engineering with both junior and major mining companies, including multiple M&A integrations. Since June 2017, he has been the Vice President, Mining Operations at Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. From June 2012 to June 2017, Mr. Carson was the Vice President, Project Development with Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. He also worked with Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. as Vice President and General Manager for the Mt. Milligan project in Central British Columbia from October 2010 to February 2012, and for Terrane Metals Corp. as its Director, Mining from November 2007 to November 2010. Prior to this, he worked for Cominco Ltd., Teck Corporation, Placer Dome Inc. and Barrick Gold Corporation in a variety of operating roles in both North America and Africa. Mr. Carson received his Bachelor of Applied Science, Mining and Mineral Process Engineering at the University of British Columbia, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of British Columbia.


Vera Kobalia

Director

Ms. Kobalia is founder of Kobalia Consulting, a private consultancy advising public and private sector leaders around the world since 2013. Clients have included local and federal  governments of Australia, Kazakhstan, Philippines, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia and United Kingdom. She is also co-founder of Olyn Inc., a blockchain based solution for asset registry. Ms. Kobalia previously was Deputy Chair of the Board of the Astana Expo 2017 National Company, which was responsible for the management and construction of associated facilities and infrastructure for the International Exposition held in Astana, Kazakhstan in 2017. Ms. Kobalia served as Advisor to the President of Georgia in 2012-2013 and was Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development for the Republic of Georgia in 2010-2012. Ms. Kobalia is currently a visiting lecturer at the European Academy of Diplomacy (Warsaw, Poland); a member of the People’s Panel at the Centre of Public Impact (London, UK); a member of the Economic Development Advisory Committee for the City of New Westminster (British Columbia, Canada); and a member of the Board of Directors for Sandstorm Gold (TSX: SSL). Ms. Kobalia was recognized as one of Business in Vancouver’s “Top 40 Under 40” award winners in 2019 and is a frequent speaker at various international forums including the World Economic Forum, where she was a Board Member on the Global Council for Development Finance in 2018-2019.


Daniel J. Kunz

Director

Mr. Kunz has more than 35 years of experience in international mining, energy, engineering and construction, including in executive, business development, management, accounting, finance and operations roles. In June 2020, he was appointed President and CEO of Prime Mining Corp. Since 2014, he has been the managing member of Daniel Kunz & Associates, LLC, an advisory and engineering services company focused on the natural resources sector. From 2013 to 2018, he was the Chairman and CEO of Gold Torrent, Inc., a mine development company. In addition, Mr. Kunz is the founder of U.S Geothermal, Inc., a renewable energy company, and served as President and CEO from 2003 until his retirement in 2013.   Mr. Kunz has held senior executive roles at Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. from 1997 to 2003, including serving as President & CEO, COO, and Director. He was part of the team that discovered Oyu Tolgoi, one of the world’s largest copper-gold deposits.  Mr. Kunz has served as President, CEO and Director of China Gold International Resources Corp. Ltd., MK Resources LLC., and spent 17 years in   executive positions with NYSE-listed Morrison Knudsen Corporation. Mr. Kunz holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science. He is currently a director of Silver Bull Resources, Inc.,  Torrent Gold Inc., Prime Mining Corp., and Greenbriar Capital Corp.


Christian Milau

Director

Mr. Milau is CEO of Blue Dot Carbon Corp. He previously was CEO of Equinox Gold from 2016-2022, leading the team through five mergers and acquisitions to grow the company from a single-asset developer to a multi-asset producer. Prior to joining Equinox Gold, Mr. Milau was the CEO of True Gold until it was acquired in April 2016. Prior to True Gold, he held senior executive positions at Endeavour Mining, New Gold, BNP Paribas in London and Deloitte. Mr. Milau brings more than 25 years of experience to the company with expertise in finance and capital markets as well as operational, government and stakeholder relations experience. He is currently a non-executive director of Northern Dynasty.

Dr. Craig Hart

Technical Advisor 

Dr. Craig Hart is a world renowned scholar on gold and copper deposits He most recently served as Director of the Mineral Deposit Research Unit at the University of British Columbia, where he initiated industry sponsored research projects that focused on gold and porphyry systems and development of novel exploration methods He has published over 150 technical papers and spent 14 years with the Yukon Geological Survey.



Dr. Steve Israel

Technical Advisor
Dr. Steve Israel specializes in structural geology and regional tectonics and metallogeny. He has spent the last four years as a senior project geologist with the geological consulting firm of Archer, Cathro & Associates (1981) Limited, becoming a Partner in the company in 2019. Prior to joining Archer, Cathro, Steve worked as a project geologist at the Yukon Geological Survey for 15 years where he carried out regional bedrock mapping programs and regional metallogenic studies. He obtained a PhD and MSc from the University of British Columbia and a BSc from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He has over 25 years of experience working in the North American Cordillera and has worked on mineral properties in Yukon, British Columbia, Nevada, California, Mexico and Nunavut.


Dr. John Mark Staude

Technical Advisor

Dr. John Mark Staude holds a Ph.D. in economic geology and has over 20 years of diverse mining and exploration experience in precious and base metals. He earned a Masters of Science from Harvard University in 1989 and a Ph.D. in economic geology from the University of Arizona in 1995. Dr. Staude held positions of increasing responsibility with a number of major international mining companies including Kennecott, BHP-Billiton, and most recently Teck Cominco. He also worked with smaller commodity-focused companies like Magma Copper Company and consulted to private investment groups. Recently, Dr. Staude has ventured into Europe and Asia initiating companies and managing successful exploration programs in Turkey, Romania and China. Dr. Staude has been successful in creating shareholder value through discoveries of gold and copper in Mexico, Peru and Turkey. He has located additional resources in known districts and helped convert discoveries into new mining operations. His technical and managerial experience spans more than 30 countries in diverse geologic environments. Dr. Staude is also a director and chairman of Capitan Mining Inc.
