Arras has assembled a significant regional mineral licence package in northeastern Kazakhstan totalling more than 3,300 square kilometres across the Bozshakol-Chingiz Magmatic Arc. Historical work from the Soviet times has identified numerous additional anomalies that have never been followed up with modern exploration techniques. In much of the license package, shallow unconsolidated cover masks the bedrock. Geophysics, soil sampling and shallow “KGK” drilling is used to advance targets and enhance understanding of underlying geology.

In December 2023, Teck Resources (“Teck”) entered into a Strategic Alliance Agreement with Arras Minerals outlining a two-year (2024-2025) US$5m generative exploration program which Teck will sole fund. The Alliance agreement covers a portion of the Arras regional land package and on completion of the initial generative phase, Teck will have the option to select up to four – 120 sq. km “projects” where they may earn up to 75% in each project by incurring US$47.5 million in exploration expenditures.
